Sanaa has learned her
cooking skills at home from her mother as well as in Italy
and France. Her Syrian grandmother taught her how to go each
morning to collect savory herbs and spices to be used in
cooking for that day. Her traveling experiences throughout
the Middle East and in Europe introduced her to seasonings
in other cuisines, which she has used to create her unique
sauces for the benefit of her restaurant customers today.
In observing how
restaurants are operated in the countries she has visited,
she has made it her goal to provide restaurant food that is
fresh, healthful, and of gourmet quality equal to any five
star restaurant without the expensive five-star prices. Her
aim is to provide the best cuisine for her customers without
compromising the fresh, natural qualities of food for which
she has become famous. The bread is baked fresh each morning
from scratch, and the dishes are freshly prepared for each
meal. Her hands on cooking and preparation helps her advise
people with food allergies who need not worry about hidden
ingredients.
The most common reaction
when customers enter her restaurant is, “It really smells
good in here.”
